Daddy and Doo

I just filled the first several pages of Evelyn's photo album...all her pictures were taken digitally and stored on CD until Wednesday! I finally printed them off and came across this one that I don't think I ever shared, I just love it!!! Evelyn and Matt enjoying some time on his lunch break one day this winter.

I hope this post finds you all warm and cozy, relaxing after a wonderful day with family or friends...or both!

Our Christmas was really great! All that I anticipated and even more....definitely more toys. Ha-ha! Here is a small dose of how our last couple of days went... http://photobucket.com/practice.php?id=5tf83

Merry Christmas

We've just arrived home from church, eaten lunch, and put the girls down for naps....our holiday bliss is about to begin. I'm really excited, I think this is the most giddy I have felt about Christmas in a long time. I literally feel like a little kid again. Christmas has long been a highlight of my year, but I sense that this year will always mark the beginning of something special for my family. Merry Christmas everyone, may you all be blessed and prosper greatly in the New Year!

Bargain of the month...

I found these amazing peppermint candles at Wal-Mart last week for *gasp* like $3.00 a piece! I adore them and couldn't resist passing along this tid bit in case any of you need a nice little touch of Christmas in your home!

Shark Girl!

So Masyn decided yesterday that she wanted to be a shark...hence the teal marker on her face. After all, what kind of shark doesn't have that fierce mouth full of gnarled teeth?!

After a few diaper wipes and two baths I am relieved to tell you that the marker has come off and Masyn is retiring her Shark Girl face for the holidays, I'll be sure to let you all know if she makes another appearance here again.

No more Charlie Brown...

Our first family Christmas in our "new" home. although we have now lived here almost 1 year, this feels like a milestone holiday for us. This year Matt and I purchased our first Christmas tree since we've been married and we are having our own special family day Christmas Eve, the first of many to come.

Being carried away in the spirit of things I embarked off on a task into my fabric closet to find something to make us all matching stockings. Actually, Masyn and Evelyn both needed a stocking period, they haven't ever had one. After a couple late nights I am proud to say that I love the new addition to my Christmas decor!
