My Biggest Girl

I snapped a few pictures the other night before church. Maybe one of the most natural pictures of Avery I have ever been able to capture when she knew I was taking her picture. Believe it or not, Avery just turned 8 in October, 2006. I'm not sure how she got that old when she was only born 4 years ago.....I must have slept too much somewhere along the way. Avery loves to read, enjoys school (okay), and will be playing softball for the first time this year....she is very excited and shows promise as a catcher (just like Daddy!).

I suppose I have embarrassed her enough now....she wouldn't like it if she knew I was posting this. :o) What are moms for if not to brag on their kiddos?

Time Flies...

I've been absent from my computer for a few days....I have a couple of special outfits to make for eBay, some meetings, dinners, and didn't want to abandon my family, so "bye bye PC time" for a bit.

During my time away I took a few pictures (well over 300 but who is counting?!)... here is a shot of a little stuffed toy I made to match an outfit. He or She was inspired by a favorite book that I love to read to my girls "Guess How Much I Love You." Buy it, read it with your kids...it's precious!

Peek-a-boo!

Yesterday Masyn and I were blessed by a dear friend who allowed us to make use of her amazing garden for a photo shoot! In this picture Masyn is peeking out of my friend's Bed & Breakfast front entrance. "Thank You" to Miss Diane, we had a great time and love the photos!

What a beatiful day it was early yesterday...but today is a whole different story. *Sigh* Come Spring, come!

My Little "Helper" At Work

Around here I have been putting much emphasis on the girl's elationships

and loving one another. Masyn is really taking to heart the issue of helping her sisters out. For example, this morning it appears that she decided to give Evelyn a few more Cheerios while I took the laundry to the playroom....

What you are seeing here is an ENTIRE box of Cheerios on Evy's walker try! I'm sorry for the shady pictures, but I couldn't risk turning the lights on and alerting the girls to my taking pictures of them.

Oh how they keep me young and laughing!

Daddy and Doo

I just filled the first several pages of Evelyn's photo album...all her pictures were taken digitally and stored on CD until Wednesday! I finally printed them off and came across this one that I don't think I ever shared, I just love it!!! Evelyn and Matt enjoying some time on his lunch break one day this winter.

A Little Taste of Our Christmas

Merry Christmas

We've just arrived home from church, eaten lunch, and put the girls down for naps....our holiday bliss is about to begin. I'm really excited, I think this is the most giddy I have felt about Christmas in a long time. I literally feel like a little kid again. Christmas has long been a highlight of my year, but I sense that this year will always mark the beginning of something special for my family. Merry Christmas everyone, may you all be blessed and prosper greatly in the New Year!

Bargain of the month...

I found these amazing peppermint candles at Wal-Mart last week for *gasp* like $3.00 a piece! I adore them and couldn't resist passing along this tid bit in case any of you need a nice little touch of Christmas in your home!
